CUX provides full native support for recording iFrames.
- Same domain: when iFrame elements come from your main domain where the CUX snippet is implemented, they are tracked automatically.
- Subdomain: for iFrame elements embedded from a subdomain of your main project’s domain, you need to implement the CUX snippet both on the main domain and on the subdomain pages containing the iFrame elements. Please ensure that the snippet used on both the domain and subdomain has the Cross-subdomain tracking toggle enabled (you can find it in Project Settings -> Integrate Code).
- External domains: when iFrame elements originate from external domains, their ability to be tracked depends on that domain’s CSP settings.
