Android SDK 0.0.44 — 2026-05-11
Fixed
- Timestamp drift — events no longer appear in the future after background→foreground
transitions.
ts(the connection timestamp used for clock-skew correction) was cached atinit()time and reused on every reconnect. After a long background session the stale value caused the tracker to compute a large negative offset, pushing all eventcreatedAtvalues hours into the future. Fixed:getParams()now callscreatedAt()inline — a fresh UTC timestamp is produced on every connection attempt. - Exponential reconnect backoff — instead of always waiting a flat 5 seconds before
reconnecting, the SDK now uses
min(2^(n-1), 30)seconds (1 s, 2 s, 4 s … 30 s cap), matching iOS SDK behaviour and reducing connection floods on signal loss.
