New in this release

  • unmaskView(view) — counterpart to maskView(view). Removes a previously masked view from the exclusion set so it appears again in screenshots.
  • R8 / ProGuard fix — consumer-rules.pro now includes -dontwarn rules for org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder, StaticMDCBinder, and StaticMarkerBinder. These dangling references (from Java-WebSocket's transitive SLF4J dependency) caused production R8 builds to fail. The fix ships inside the AAR — no changes needed in host apps.
  • Java-WebSocket upgraded — bumped from 1.5.3 to 1.5.7, which removes the SLF4J 1.x static binder from the transitive dependency tree entirely.
  • wrapperSdkType / wrapperSdkVersion — device info payloads now include the bridge SDK identity (ReactNative, Flutter, etc.). Set explicitly via CuxAnalytics.setWrapperSdk(type, version) before init(), or auto-detected from the classpath at startup.

Improvements

  • Auto-detection of bridge SDK (React Native, Flutter) at init time — no explicit setWrapperSdk() call needed for supported bridges.
